Open Source is a Cascade STEAM Community Group with a focus on open source software and hardware. Join us each month as we meet to discuss Open Source Software and Hardware. Our current focus is a HomeLab Series highlighting fundamental open source software. Explore how you can design your own homelab and learn how we are incorporating these solutions into our own organization and programs.

The Open Source group is a key contributor to LinuxFest Northwest — an annual, free-to-attend open source conference held each April at Bellingham Technical College. LFNW 2026 runs April 24–26, 2026.
